The Chicago White Sox won the pitching duel against the Minnesota Twins to propel the Pale Hose to a divisional series against the Tampa Bay Rays. There were only 7 toal hits in the game, but the biggest a Jim Thome blast in the 7th, leading the White Sox to the 1 - 0 win
