Sources tell the CMSB that former University of Maine Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach Robb Smith, who has joined Greg Schiano's staff at Rutgers, will be replaced by Joe Rossi, who was the Defensive Backs coach and Special Team Coordinator for the team last year.
UPDATE: UMaine states it is too early in the process to confirm, they did say Coach Jack Cosgrove "is in the early stages of the process of meeting with HR". This UMaine source has been impeccable thus far, and the CMSB stands by its story that Rossi will get the job.
