Big East Power Rankings, Week 6

1. Cincinnati (5-0, 1-0 in conference): Moved up in the polls even without playing. Next Step…Showcase Thursday night, on the road at South Florida

2. South Florida (5-0, 1-0): Looking to continue rapidly moving up the polls. Next Step…Huge conference tilt on the hosting Cincinnati.

3. Pittsburgh (4-1, 2-0): Impressive offensively against a stingy UConn defense last week. Next Step…Friday night at Rutgers

4. West Virginia (4-1, 1-0): Took care of business early last week in the dome. Next Step...Dismantling Marshall in a fake rivalry game.

5. Connecticut (3-2, 0-1): Looking to answer some questions, after the defense was manhandled by a gutsy Pitt team last week. Next Step…Hosting the ‘Ville

6. Rutgers (4-1, 0-1): Rolling through an incredibly easy non-conference schedule. Next Step...Back to the grind, hosting Pitt Friday night.

7. Syracuse (2-4, 0-2): Quarterback controversy at the ‘Cuse? Nassib out performed Paulus in a loss last week. Next Step…Bye Week

8. Louisville (2-3, 0-1): Solid non-conference win over Southern Miss last week. Next Step…Looking for a streak against Connecticut.
