2010 Sea Dogs Tickets on Sale Saturday



The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will place their individual game tickets for the 2010 season on sale on Saturday, November 7th at 9:00 AM at the Hadlock Field Box Office. Phone & internet orders will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 7th. The Sea Dogs Ticket Office will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 7th.

All fans who purchase tickets on Saturday at the Hadlock Field Ticket Office will receive a 20% off coupon for the Sea Dogs Souvenir Store good for Saturday only. Slugger the Sea Dog will be on hand Saturday morning to greet fans. The Sea Dogs will also provide coffee and donuts for fans. WCLZ 98.9 FM will be broadcasting live from Hadlock Field.

Prices for individual game tickets for the 2010 season are unchanged for the third consecutive season. Tickets are priced at $9.00 for Box seat tickets for adults, while seniors (62+) and children (16 and under) can have a Box seat for $8.00. Other seating options include Reserved seating, available at $8.00 for adults and $7.00 for kids and seniors. General Admission seats can be obtained at the economical price of $7.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids and seniors. Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more.

Back by popular demand in 2010 are the Sea Dogs Five and Ten Game Ticket Packages. Eight different packages are available combining some of the hottest dates on the Sea Dogs schedule in 2010. These packages will guarantee you the same great Reserved Seat for all games within the package. Please contact the Sea Dogs for a complete list of available packages or log on to www.seadogs.com.

The Sea Dogs 2010 Promotional Schedule continues to grow by the day. Promotions that are already finalized for the 2010 season include five Fireworks shows (April 30th, May 21st, June 17th, July 5th, and September 2nd), the fan favorite Field of Dreams promotion (September 5th), several of the travel acts including the ZOOperstars (June 15th, August 3rd), and Christopher (August 18th). Bobblehead doll giveaways for the 2010 season include Daisuke Matsuzaka (May 11th), Junichi Tazawa (June 30th), Adrian Gonzalez (July 22nd), Hanley Ramirez (August 4th), and Daniel Bard (September 1st). Season Tickets for the 2010 season are currently on sale. Season Tickets range in price from $390.50 to $461.50 per seat and are available either on an annual basis or a three-year commitment. In addition to Season Tickets, the Sea Dogs are currently taking reservations for Skyboxes, Picnics, Birthday Parties, and Kids Club Memberships.

The Ticket Office will be open 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 7th. After Saturday, November 7th, ticket office hours will be Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Souvenir Store is open Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday hours will be added starting November 28th to accommodate holiday shoppers.

In 2009 the Sea Dogs attracted 404,709 fans, an average of 6,132 fans per game. The Sea Dogs ranked second amongst the 12 team Eastern League attendance in 2009, fourth of 30 Double-A teams, and 25th out of 176 total Minor League baseball franchises. Additionally the Sea Dogs were the sixth most attended sport in New England in 2009 ranking only behind the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Pawtucket Red Sox, and the Patriots. In 2009, the Boston Red Sox featured 26 former Sea Dogs on the roster including such stars as Josh Beckett, Jon Lester, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia, and Kevin Youkilis.

The Sea Dogs 2010 season opens on April 8th in Reading, Pennsylvania with the home opener set for Thursday, April 15th at 6:00 PM against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees). The 2010 season is the Sea Dogs’ 17th season in Portland and eighth as an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
