Bill Walker heads back to #Celtics

The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that the Boston Celtics have recalled forward Bill Walker. The announcement was made by Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings.

Walker, a 6’6” forward, appeared in nine games for the Red Claws and was averaging a team-high 17.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game at the time of his recall. In his last game for the Red Claws against Fort Wayne, Walker netted a season-high 33 points on 14-of-17 shooting including 3-of-4 from three point distance.

The Red Claws will next be in action this weekend with back-to-back home games versus the Bakersfield Jam. Tip off on Saturday is at 1 PM, while the two will square off again on Sunday at 5 PM. Just a few hundred tickets remain for both games. Maine is currently in second place in the East Conference, one game behind Iowa at 7 wins, 2 losses.
