In an interview with the Press Herald, CX4 Board Chairman Neal Pratt put a timeline for this saga to end.
"There's a regular board meeting scheduled for next Wednesday, and it is my hope we can have a deal, at least in principle, done by then," Pratt said.
The longer this goes, the more hopeful I would think everyone can be about the Pirates staying.
Also, Brian Petrovek mentioned something about the affiliation agreement with Buffalo that was announced yesterday.
"Petrovek said the length of the new deal with the Sabres still must be determined. "We're still working through how far we want to go," he said.
The road is still winding, hopefully to a conclusion sooner rather than later.
