The Red Sox today announced the following roster moves:
-Optioned catcher Dusty Brown to Triple-A Pawtucket.
-Optioned infielder Kevin Frandsen to Triple-A Pawtucket.
-Reassigned infielder Jorge Jimenez to minor league camp.
-Reassigned catcher Gustavo Molina to minor league camp.
The announcements were made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Theo Epstein.
With today’s moves, the Red Sox now have 35 players in Big League camp, including 5 non-roster invitees.
