Mancari back to #Sabres and the #NHL

Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Mark Mancari has been recalled on an emergency basis from the AHL’s Portland Pirates.

This is the fourth recall of the season for Mancari, who leads Portland in scoring with 71 points (27+44) in 72 games. Mancari has two points (1+1) in five games with the Sabres this season. Mancari, 24, was selected by Buffalo in the seventh round (207th overall) of the 2004 Entry Draft.

The Pirates complete the 2009-10 Regular Season with their final three games this weekend. The concluding stretch begins Friday on the road in Manchester against the Monarchs at 7:30 p.m. The game can be heard live on News Talk WLOB 95.5 FM and on-line at www.portlandpirates.com beginning with the pre-game show at 7:15 p.m.
