Celtic Pride Thursday

I think we all know what's going on today...

Celtics
I do not have to walk to work on Friday. Barring a Willis Reed-like appearance, Kendrick Perkins is out for Game 7 .

The LAPD will be out in full force tonight. (Rodney King could not be reached for comment)

Rasheed Wallace has a chance to earn his entire contract tonight.

The TV Ratings for these Finals continue to impress.

Red Sox
Jon Lester, much like Clay Buchholz the night before, won with less than A Plus stuff as the Sox beat the D-Backs 6-2.

Joe Haggerty explains how Lester found his changeup in the nick of time.

Tony Massarotti talks Manny. Yeah, it's on.

Bruins
Carl Soderberg will once again stay in Sweden. Haggs has more on that and all the Bruins notes you'll need in this notebook.

Cam Neely was introduced as President of the Bruins yesterday.

In an interview on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Neely told Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti, "I know players can't play great every game, but they can work hard every game"

Patriots
There might be no Logan Mankins, but Zoltan Mesko is in the fold.

Sea Dogs
Jose Iglesias is on the shelf for awhile, and Hadlock Headlines has the details. They also have the story from last night's game, including exclusive audio and photos of the AA debut of pitching prospect Alex Wilson.

Maine Ties
The AHL announced the alignment of their 30 team league for next season, check out the story at Pine Tree Pucks.

High School
Get all your Maine High School info at the Bangor Daily News, and Lewiston Sun Journal.
