The "F" in Eddie F Rush Stands For "Friday" Links

Celtics:
Shrek and Donkey, I mean Glen Davis and Nate Robinson, dominate the 4th quarter, and send Tom Looney into an emotional tirade and playing the blame game. Celtics tie the series at 2-2 with a 96-89 at the garden.

Postgame reaction.

Red Sox:
The Red Sox can't put it together can they? Lester struggles and Daniel Bard can't slam door on the Tribe, as the Indians walk off on a blooper 8-7. Red Sox end the road trip vs. the O's and Indians 4-3 and lose ground in the AL East and Wild Card. Not good people, not good.

Here we go again; Jacoby Ellsbury with another fractured rib, will be out at least a several weeks.

Jonathan Papelbon to return to Red Sox tomorrow.

Kevin Youkilis leaves game with  mild back spasms

Patriots:
Patriots guard Logan Mankins faces salary cut.

Fred Taylor stands by  former Giants reciever Plaxico Burress

Bruins:
Johnny Boychuck's agent "optimistic" about negotiations with Bruins.

Sea Dogs:
Portland won another one on the road. Mike Antonellis has the story.

Read the preview of the Sea Dog's next homestand in the Hadlock Headlines.

Maine Ties
UMaine hockey coach Tim Whitehead was on the Big Jab yesterday, you can hear that on our sister site dedicated to hockey, Pine Tree Pucks.

High School:
Read about all tournament action and all the postponements from the day at Mbr.org.

Guys, I just wanted to say that all of the Big Jab shows are great. The only shows in the Boston area that are any good are Dale and Holly on WEEI and Damon Amendolara on 98.5. The Big Jab shows are informative and entertaining. I'm talking about the local shows. The national shows are horrendous. I am going to make one request though. Please do not put that moron Gary Tanguay on the air again. There is a reason he did not last one year on WBZ 98.5. Gary believed that Jacoby Ellsbury was not hurt at all. It was a plan hatched by Ellsbury and Boras to show their disapproval over Ellsbury being placed in left. He had no evidence of this he just threw it at the wall. This is one of many dumb statements he has made.
