Man Born at Scarborough Downs Buys Horse, Wins Loudonville Stakes at Saratoga

Once again, proving that there are ties to Maine all over the sporting world, a horse whose owner was literally born at Scarborough Downs won the 70,000 dollar Loudonville Stakes at Saratoga raceway this afternoon. Lisa's Booby Trap, a filly who is blind in one eye, was bought by Tim Snyder for 2,000 dollars up-front and 4500 total 7 months ago. Great story from the Albany Times-Union, and thanks to our pal Mike Mutnansky from WGAM and WEEI who passed this story along to us.
