Why I will root for the Colts

Ready to suit up for the big game LT?

Why would I, a Pats fan, support a guy who left me broken and crushed two years ago? Because they are playing the biggest punks in the NFL on Sunday. Along with having some of the best players in the league, the Chargers have some of the biggest mouths in the league.

We are all aware of the L-ittle T-oddler who slung snot at the Patriots following the Chargers 2006 Divisional Game loss to New England for doing the same dance after the game that Shawne Merriman is known for doing to celebrate tying his shows, opening a letter or remembering where his syringe is.

"When you go to the middle of our field and start doing the dance Shawne Merriman is known for, that is disrespectful. They showed no class and maybe that comes from the head coach."

Maybe the fact you guys can't win comes from your head coach, not sure, is Marty known for bad home losses in the Playoffs?

But what was really enjoyable about that post-game cry fest, errr, interview was the way he started it.

"You guys know me, I am a very classy person."

Hey LT, next time you are in New England, try the humble pie, it tastes like shit but boy do you need a big helping.

Also commenting on the topic of the dance was the man whose artistic creativity was robbed one January evening in 2007.

"It was upsetting to see because they won three Super Bowls, It's like a guy on a fast break in basketball and dunking the ball and getting excited. You've won three Super Bowls. You don't do that."

Or like a guy doing a ridiculous dance for getting a sack? What's more cause for a celebration? Getting a sack, or going on the road beating the number one seed in the conference in the playoffs? Um, oh gee, um, let's, see carry the four....

The face of class in the NFL

And speaking of your teammate LT, perhaps the Pats should have as much class as your teammate Shawne Merriman did a couple weeks before the Pats game when he sent Jason Taylor a "Lights OUt" t-shirt and hat, along with some popcorn and a note telling Taylor to enjoy watching the playoffs. I guess the classless thing would have been to send the package of gifts COD.

Or maybe LT, maybe the Pats should have should have acted with the same level of class as your other teammate, Matt Wilhelm, when he called Jay Cutler a punk and a crybaby while also, for whatever reason, calling out Tony Gonzalez and saying he and Cutler were "the biggest crybabies in the league". Actually Matty, if you want to find the biggest crybaby in the league, just look at your backfield.

Then we have another teammate of L-ittle T-oddler's, Igor Olshansky, whose comments following the Chargers' playoff win in Indy were heard loud in clear in the Pats' locker room after he was asked about the Patriots.

"Who? New England? Seriously, I mean, they're more worried than we are, I promise you. Believe me. They know what's up."

Yeah they did, and what's up Mr. Olshanksy,  is generally 16-0 teams don't get too worried when they are playing at home against a team they throttled earlier in the season. Here's fifty bucks, go buy yourself a clue and a neck

So, while we wait patiently for the next Charger to say something that will get Peyton and company motivated, just remember, stay classy San Diego...you too LT.
