Sea Dogs Season Ticket Selection Nights

The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will host two special evening sessions for fans to select their 2010 seat locations for season tickets. The Sea Dogs realize that many fans have an interest in season tickets but can not make it to the ballpark during normal business hours. For the convenience of our fans, the Sea Dogs will open the ticket office for two special evening sessions on Thursday, November 12th and Thursday, November 19th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for fans to tryout various seat locations at Hadlock Field for 2010 season tickets.

Season Tickets are the perfect way to catch all of the action at Hadlock Field. They also serve as a great marketing tool and can be used for employee incentives, entertaining clients, or for your own personal enjoyment. It guarantees you the same great seat for all the Big Sea Dog events such as Opening Day, Fireworks Shows, promotional days, possible rehab appearances such as David Ortiz, and of course to see the future of Boston Red Sox at every game. Jacoby Ellsbury, Jon Lester, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia, and Kevin Youkilis are just a few of the Red Sox stars that played in Portland.

The Sea Dogs also offer a unique Season Ticket Redemption Program. Can’t make all the games? Not a problem, turn your tickets in for a partial credit on next year’s tickets, donate them to charity, or exchange them for General Admission tickets to a game you can attend. Never a wasted ticket.

Additionally, the Sea Dogs host several Season Ticket Holder only functions such as a team autograph session, breakfast with the team, the opportunity to take batting practice at Hadlock field and much more.

Season Tickets range in price from $390.50 to $461.50 per seat and are available either on an annual basis or a three-year commitment. You can save $177.50 on each season ticket ($2.50/game/seat) over the individual game price on the best seats at Hadlock Field.

The Sea Dogs will also be able to accommodate individual ticket sales during the special evening hour session on November 12th and November 19th. Prices for individual game tickets for the 2010 season are unchanged for the third consecutive season. Tickets are priced at $9.00 for Box seat tickets for adults, while seniors (62+) and children (16 and under) can have a Box seat for $8.00. Other seating options include Reserved seating, available at $8.00 for adults and $7.00 for kids and seniors. General Admission seats can be obtained at the economical price of $7.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids and seniors. Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more.

In 2009 the Sea Dogs attracted 404,709 fans, an average of 6,132 fans per game. The Sea Dogs ranked second amongst the 12 team Eastern League attendance in 2009, fourth of 30 Double-A teams, and 25th out of 176 total Minor League baseball franchises. Additionally the Sea Dogs were the sixth most attended sport in New England in 2009 ranking only behind the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Pawtucket Red Sox, and the Patriots. In 2009, the Boston Red Sox featured 26 former Sea Dogs on the roster.

The Sea Dogs 2010 season opens on April 8th in Reading, Pennsylvania with the home opener set for Thursday, April 15th at 6:00 PM against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees). The 2010 season is the Sea Dogs’ 17th season in Portland and eighth as an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
