Wednesday We-View

A fairly light night, but links can be found anywhere.

  • UMaine men's basketball gave a great effort against UConn before the Huskies pulled away in the second half. Terrance Mitchell had 13 points to lead the Black Bears, who fell to 5-5 on the season. They are off for the next 7 days before taking on Columbia.
  • Kevin Garnett was a late scratch with a thigh injury (or a sore knee, depending on who you believe) and Paul Pierce's offense didn't show up until the second half, but luckily they managed to come back and beat the Pacers 103-94. Garnett was out as a "precaution" according to Danny Ainge, but his status for Friday's game against Orlando remains up in the air.
  • Ian Rapoport from the Boston Herald has a great article up about Wes Welker and what his family does when they watch his game. He also has a feature up on James Sanders and Shawn Springs and what their return has done for the secondary.
  • Last night's high school scores are up at MBR.org.
