The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, have announced that the popular Sea Dogs/ Red Sox combo ticket packages are returning. These ticket packages include tickets to five Portland Sea Dogs games, and a Boston Red Sox game. These ticket packages will go on sale on Monday, February 1st at 9:00 AM at the Hadlock Field box office and by phone (207-879-9500). The packages will NOT be available online.
More packages will be offered than ever before as the Sea Dogs have four packages to choose from in 2010. Each package features tickets to five Sea Dogs games and one Red Sox game. All tickets to the Red Sox games are bleacher seats in either right or centerfield. All the Sea Dogs tickets will be reserved seats either behind home plate or down the third base line. Packages are available for $68.00 for adults and $63.00 for kids (16 and under) and seniors (62 and over).
Package #1 includes a centerfield bleacher seat (section 37) to the May 30th Red Sox game against the Kansas City Royals. It also includes the following Sea Dogs games; April 21st, May 11th, May 23rd, June 29th, and August 30th.
Package #2 features a right-field bleacher seat (section 43) ticket to the July 16th Red Sox game against the Texas Rangers. You will also receive Sea Dogs tickets for these games; April 20th, May 10th, May 28th, July 6th, and August 31st.
Package #3 is highlighted by a right-field bleacher seat (section 43) to the July 31st Red Sox game against the Detroit Tigers. With this package you also receive ticket to the April 19th, May 12th, May 31st, July 8th, and September 3rd Sea Dogs’ games.
Package #4 includes a centerfield bleacher seat (section 35) to the September 20th Red Sox game against the Baltimore Orioles. This package consists of Sea Dogs tickets to the May 3rd, May 22nd, June 16th, August 6th, and September 6th games.
The Boston Red Sox have sold out a Major League Baseball record 550 consecutive games. These packages offer Sea Dogs fans the opportunity to see the both the future and current stars of the Boston Red Sox. It also allows fans the opportunity to secure Red Sox tickets where they can go to Fenway Park and to follow the career of many former Sea Dogs. Last season, 26 former Sea Dogs spent time playing for the Boston Red Sox including Daniel Bard, Josh Beckett, Jacoby Ellsbury, Jon Lester, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis.
The Sea Dogs Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sea Dogs tickets are governed by normal Sea Dog ticket policies and Red Sox tickets will be governed by Red Sox ticket policies. No refunds, exchanges or substitutions will be permitted. Game times are subject to change. Tickets for these packages are extremely limited; packages will be offered for as long as supplies last.

The Portland Sea Dogs open the 2010 season on April 8th in Reading, Pennsylvania. The home opener is set for Thursday, April 15th at 6:00 PM against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees) at Hadlock Field. The 2010 season is the Sea Dogs’ 17th season in Portland and eighth as an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
