Thursday-Where Black Bears Winning at the Buzzer Happens

The week of nothing continues. Well, the Pro Bowl is this weekend. Never mind I was right the first time.

The Maine Black Bears Men's hoops team continued their run, knocking off BU 56-54 on Wednesday night at the Alfond. They improve to 14-6 on the year and 6-1 in America East, good for first-place, just ahead of second place Stony Brook.

Three of the Red Sox top prospects made MLB Network's Top 50 Prospect list last night (and all of them will probably play in Portland this year).

Wes Welker is scheduled for knee surgery next Tuesday at Mass General.

Vince Wilfork told WEEI yesterday that getting hit with the franchise tag would be a "Slap in my face." Yeah, that's going to end well.

The Red Claws knocked off the Stampede in Idaho last night.
