• The Portland Sea Dogs beat Bowie 8 – 2 Sunday. Adam Mills, who has won 8 straight games for the Sea Dogs, was promoted to the Pawtucket Red Sox on Sunday.
• A bunch of Patriots returned to the practice field Sunday.
• The Celtics and Big Baby Davis look headed toward an agreement today.
• And last but not least the Yankees finished off a sweep of the Boston Red Sox, beating them 5 – 2 Sunday Night. The Sox are now 6 1/2 games back of the Yankees and tied with the Texas Rangers for the Wild Card lead.

• The Portland Sea Dogs got rained out yet again forcing 2 double headers the next 2 days against the New Britain Rock Cats.
• Austin Ainge was named the inaugural Head Coach of the Maine Red Claws on Tuesday.
• Preparations being made for the 20th Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic Saturday at Waterhouse Field at 4PM 
• The Nets have interest in Big Baby.
• The Boston Red Sox dropped to 2nd place losing to the Texas Rangers 4 – 2.

A new segment here at the CMSB is going to be called "How much funnier would it be if...", where we take a story each week and tweak just enough to make it hilarious instead of funny or disturbing.

This week's winner is...



"How much funnier would it be if we found out that when Glen "Big Baby" Davis got into a car wreck on Sunday that he had been driving one of KG's vehicles?"

I am assuming this could have spawned plenty of "dad took my Big Wheel away" jokes or something. The possibilities could have been endless.
