The Boston Celtics went into Monday's game with the Magic prepared to improve against a team that took the season series from them last year. The game was physical from the get go, resulting in a total of 8 technical fouls. Sam Cassell was tossed rom the bench, on a weak foul call on Kendrick Perkins. Paul Pierce continued his torrid pace scoring 17 of his 24 points in the 3rd quarter, to lead the Celtics to their 9th straight win,
beating the Orlando Magic 107 - 88.
